My First - #MFRWauthor

Each new week puts us closer to the end of the year. Can't believe I've managed to stick with these weekly posts for the #MFRWauthor blog hop. Even on weeks like this where I have no freaking clue what the topic is about.

This week we're supposed to talk about our first love. But what on earth does that mean?

First romantic love? If that's the case how far back? First "puppy love"? First serious one? How far down the rabbit hole are we supposed to go? For someone with my bad memory, the answer isn't good either way, so I'll just answer that with my last love, which is my hubby. Whoever came before him doesn't factor in any longer since it's him I chose to spend my life with.

So maybe first child love? As in my children. Well, in that case it'd be easy, that would be The Girl. She wins by default since she was first born. That's NOT to be confused with favorite child, I don't have one of those. Each kid is my favorite for their own special reasons.

Are we talking first book love? Goodness who can remember that? It's like the favorite book quotes. I can't remember that sort of thing. There have been plenty that I've read that I've loved for one reason or another. Unless it means of my books, well it's the similar vein as my children. My first book love would be Fiendish because it was my first one. Even with it's flaws, I love it because it is my "baby" in that respect.

If you've made it this far, then you have a clear understanding that I have NO clue what this topic is supposed to cover. I could keep asking possible what if questions, but it won't clear things up for me and do you really want to keep reading my rambling thoughts?

I will put us both out of our misery. This was probably the hardest week for me as I couldn't even pull together a somewhat logical post. LOL I've had many "first" loves, none of which I can accurately recall. I'm sure I'll have more.

This is a blog hop so be sure to check out the other authors. Hopefully they have better responses.

Thanks for stopping by

    1. aww how sweet. Yeah, I'm sure I had crushes on people, but for the life of me they wouldn't tell me who they were. The cold meds didn't help.

  6. I think you managed quite well, Meka! For the past few challenges, I've felt as confused as you are so don't feel too bad. The questions are sometimes so vague as to be impossible to zero in on a target topic! Thanks for sharing

    1. Thank you! Some of these topics haven't been easy, but I answer as best I can. May not be the exact answer, but it works.

  7. I had the same thoughts, Meka- what to write about? I think it's done intentionally to see where our creative brains take us. That is- if our brain is listening, lol.

    1. You are probably right. My brain rarely listens, it's why my characters go rouge and take over and idea of a plan I might have. LOL

  8. Its funny how we all react to so personally to the question. I immediately thought first guy I said I love you to. No other answer, no doubts that's what the questioned meant.

    1. It was an interesting topic. I'm glad you had a clear thought on what to answer. I was really confused so went with more of a non-answer. LOL
