Book Review: Plenty of Fish

Plenty of Fish by Yawatta Hosby
Local celebrity painter Mackenzie knows better than to talk to strangers. But, he seems to know so much about her already...

PLENTY OF FISH is a 3,404 word suspenseful short story

My Review
4 stars

**ARC**

This was the first story I've read by Yawatta Hosby. I felt just as confused as Mackenzie when that guy showed up. At first I thought maybe someone was pulling a prank on her with all the stuff he knew about her and how adamant he was about knowing her. It was very creepy all the facts he did know and how quickly he lost his temper. I'm glad Mackenzie's red flags went up instantly.

The story was short which was both good and bad. It was good because it was a quick easy read, bad because I was left wondering how much more we could have gotten from this if it was upgraded to even a novella. But then again, having it short and sweet adds to the suspense, so yeah it worked as is.

I would recommend for anyone looking for a quick suspenseful read.
