I Don't Remember - #MFRWauthor

Week 40 of the #MFRWauthor blog hop is upon us. There have been a lot of topics covered so far. Some easy, some hard. Some that nearly stumped me. This week is one of those weeks.

Favorite book quotes. Not gonna lie, when I read this week's topic I was not excited. Was I supposed to come up with quotes about reading? Or was I supposed to quote passages from books I've read and enjoyed.

I hoped it wasn't the latter. See I have a crap memory. I read, I enjoy, but goodness knows I can't remember passages. I don't re-read books, mainly because these days I count myself lucky if I can read through one once. A lot of my reading is either as a beta or I'm reading to my children. We've made our way through the Goosebumps series.

I could have used my old pal Google to try and look up some quotes from books I enjoyed. But then it goes back to my faulty memory on trying to remember which books I wanted. It's a bad situation all around. Especially given the fact I've spent the last two weeks and counting in what I call "Editing Hell" I now operate on limited brain cells.

So I'm going with a few quotes about books in general for this post.

As I looked for quotes, some actual book passages popped up. I've not read this book, but the passage caught my eye so I wanted to share it as well.

That's it. Short and sweet for this week. It's all I can manage. What are some of your favorite quotes from or about books? Be sure to share in the comments and remember this is a blog hop so stop by and see what the other authors have to say.

Thanks for stopping by

    1. Thank you. Most of my reading these days is bedtime stories to the boys. They got into the Goosebumps books after we saw the movie.

    1. LOL Google never fails me! I thought it was a fun one, especially considering my first book is a twisted fairytale.

  7. I'm glad I wasn't alone in wondering about this weeks topic, but you carried it through just fine. I like all your choices, but one stood out for me: "Sometimes people are beautiful..."
